Review of Episode One of Barefoot in the Night: The Search for Emma Fillipoff

A new docuseries, ‘Barefoot in the Night’, delves into the so far 13-year search for the missing Canadian woman Emma Fillipoff.

A new docuseries detailing Fillipoff’s disappearance will launch on Emma’s 40th birthday, January 6th. 

VicPD has handed the case of Emma Fillipoff, last seen walking barefoot near the Fairmont Empress Hotel, to its Historical Case Review Unit.

Created by Bayberry Films, Barefoot in the Night: The Search for Emma Fillipoff gives a behind-the-scenes look at the timeline, tips, sightings and witness accounts in the case.

This is the third preview of the upcoming docuseries and is only a snippet of a much larger story. This 22-minute preview highlights the unresolved story of The Man in the Green Shirt, and a new initiative put forth in the hopes of breathing life into this old, yet compelling lead that is still a possible link in Emma's case.

The docu-series, Barefoot in the Night: The Search for Emma Fillipoff, seeks to highlight the strange circumstances surrounding Fillipoff’s disappearance and ultimately, to find the young woman and help her get home.
